Tauntus Bend Over Beginner Strap On Kit Review

I was really excited to get my hands on our first tools for a fun pegging session.   While I had been in to many a sex shop in my pre-lifestyle life and had seen an array of strap on devices, it never occurred to me that I may need one, so I never gave it much thought.

As the other Vanilla-half and I listened to more Life on the Swingset episodes and began networking with other swingers, I started to see that strap-ons were not just for lesbian or trans folks.  For other reviewers out there, this isn’t news, but for me, it was.

I identify as a straight female, so the idea that there was a whole new pleasure chest of possibilities open up to me was an exciting endeavor.

The fella was open to trying pegging and after some research, I floundered on where to start.  Ideally, we needed something that was geared for beginners both in creation and in price- since we weren’t sure where to start and was equally unsure about investing in pegging toys if we weren’t sure we’d like it.

Tantus Bend Over Beginner Kit ReviewThe Tantus Bend Over Beginner Strap- On Kit includes an adjustable, washable harness with two O-rings (small and medium), and a bullet vibrator that fits into a small pocket in the harness.

There’s also an extra 1.53″ O-ring that comes in the harness, so you can experiment with different toys.   The two silicone dildos are around the smaller side or beginners to anal penetration: Silk Small which is 4.25″ X 0.8″ diameter and Silk Medium which is 5.5″ x 1″ diameter.

Priced at $120, it is an investment for sure- but considering how expensive harnesses can be, plus dildos, you get a great baseline of product.

The nylon straps were a bit cumbersome at first and I was worried that they would be uncomfortable when tightened.  For a beginner, it might feel weird strapping on your strap-on but it ends up being quite comfortable.

The faux velvet finish of the actual harness piece wasn’t my favorite material, but it felt fine snuggled up against my bits with the bullet vibrator powered on.  It’s a starter kit, and it does the job just fine.

Yep, it’ll be weird stepping in things and getting it all adjusted your first time, but then again, if you’ve never had any sort of penis jetting out of you, it should sort of be weird, but it’s a liberating sort of weird- getting to step into a new role and getting to be the penetrator!

Tantus Beginner Strap-On Kit

Like I said, I was a bit uneasy about the straps, but once everything was secured- the nylon straps didn’t rub or  bother me.  I was able to get the vibrating bullet precisely where it needed to go to be comfortable and fun, and it wasn’t awkward.

Well- at least the strap-on wasn’t awkward…me on the other hand, well let me just say- I have a lot to learn about thrusting and how to control a new appendage you can’t feel and aren’t used to.  Needless to say, I have a lot more appreciation for guys now, it was a workout!

The Bend Over Beginner strap-on kit takes the overwhelm out of taking the helm of a new appendage and reversing roles with your partner (if you’re hetero like we are) with a sense of fun and ease of use.

Tantus Beginner Strap On KitOn the receiving end- my partner was pleased with the product, though I’m sure he was being kind about my lackluster thrusting abilities.   All in all, everyone got off by the end, so all’s well that ends well!

I will say though, for a lady that’s never been on the giving end of a phallus, it was an exciting experience. I want to get more experienced to give my partner a P-spot orgasm!

The dildos that are included are high-grade premium silicone so they clean up really well- despite the fact they collect pretty much every fiber of lint or pet hair that might have found it’s way onto your sheets.  Luckily though, they’re able to be cleaned or sterilized in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.Tantus Bend Over Beginner Kit

I’m a fan of Tantus products, the harness was solid, and with some practice, I think I’ll be able to wield a strap-on with more finesse than I have now.  It’s so exciting to be able to experiment with pegging, I have a lot to learn, but it’s tantalizing to explore.

The Tantus Bend Over Beginner Kit is $120.99 from Tantus (though they have sales and gifts with purchase regularly.)  It is available in two colors- black or purple. It comes with three O-rings, two dildos and a bullet vibrator (with battery, woohoo!) and a
